Transitions at PCL

After nearly four successful years as Legislative Director for the League, Tina Andolina has taken a job with California State Senator Lois Wolk (D-Vacaville). While we are sad to see her go, we are extremely grateful for the hard work and energy Tina has brought to PCL, and we wish her the best of luck in her new capacity. We are also excited to have the opportunity to continue working with Tina to advance ground-breaking solutions to California’s environmental challenges in her new capacity with Senator Wolk.

Since Tina took the legislative reigns in early 2007, we have sponsored nearly 20 bills, with 7 signed into law, and have effectively pushed forward innovative policies on water, land use, natural resources protection and energy efficiency. This past year with Tina’s leadership, PCL and our coalition partners were able to stop an environmentally destructive water bond slated for November’s ballot and prevent any major roll backs to the California Environmental Quality Act. We are now poised to move forward and continue to build on the momentum of these and other victories as we embark on a new year with a new administration and great opportunities to improve the quality of life for all Californians.

Tina will be sorely missed, but we are eager to fill her shoes. In her role directing PCL’s campaigns, Traci Sheehan will cover all things legislative while we work to hire a new Legislative Director.
