Water Policy Assistant

Barb Byrne joined PCL in March 2007. An advocate for wise water management throughout California, she is particularly interested in fisheries and habitat restoration issues in the California Bay-Delta region.

Barb received a B.S. in Biology and Oceanography from the University of Michigan. Her research background includes fieldwork in marine ecology and simulation modeling of fish population dynamics.

A resident of Davis since 2000, Barb enjoys participating in the Guide Program at Stebbins Cold Canyon Reserve. She also serves on the board of the Solar Community Housing Association, a Davis nonprofit that promotes affordable housing and sustainable living.
