The Planning and Conservation League Foundation, a 501(c)3, is the sister organization to PCL, a 501(c)4. Whereas PCL lobbies to effectively improve environmental protections through legislative and administrative actions, the PCL Foundation’s focus is to ensure Californian’s have the understanding and know-how to participate in the process. The Foundation’s work ranges from hosting community workshops to publishing citizen’s guides to outreach efforts.
The Foundation’s mission is protect the California environment and to ensure that California continues to be an attractive, livable and equitable state by engaging in cutting edge environmental public policy research and by empowering residents to participate as in the local and state environmental decision-making process.
