2012 Annual Environmental Legislative Symposium
On Saturday, January 28, 2012 the Planning and Conservation League (PCL) and PCL Foundation hosted an Environmental Legislative Symposium. This annual event brought together 201 activists, business leaders, planners, policy and decision makers, activists, students and attorneys.
The Symposium theme for 2012 was "THINK SMALL: Local Solutions to Protect Our Environment, Strengthen Our Communities, and Rebuild Our Economy." Expert speakers and decision makers brought current information on environmental issues and innovative policy solutions to the table on water, land use, high speed rail, regulatory reform and more.
In order to continue to provide you with current and relevant information on the environment the Symposium Proceedings has been made available via the PCL website.
|Bruce Reznik launched the One Vision, One Voice Campaign during his opening remarks.
This year we celebrated the work of three Legislators of the Year: Senator Kevin de León, Assembly members Jerry Hill and Jared Huffman.
PCL and the PCL Foundation could not have made this Symposium happen without the generous support and assistance from our sponsors.
