Since 2002 PCLF has lead dozens of CEQA workshops throughout California focusing on the consequences of California’s growth on local communities. We encourage you to attend, host or sponsor a CEQA workshop in your area or learn how to use the California Environmental Quality Act to protect local communities from environmental degradation.
In 2007 PCL launched a workshop series for grassroots environmental leaders focusing on reducing climate change impacts at the local level. Follow this link to learn more about what you can do in your area to cut emissions, enact local policies and spread the word.
Every year PCL and PCLF host an annual Legislative Symposium to bring together legislators, environmental non-profits, local grassroots groups, businesses, policy-makers and attorneys. Through cutting-edge policy sessions, “How To…” workshops and inspirational keynote speakers we hope to engage, empower and enlighten our participants.
Throughout the year PCL and its sister organization the PCL Foundation host a variety of events for members, affiliates and grassroots organizations. These events include, but are not limited to: legislative meetings, CEQA workshops, and the annual Legislative Symposium.
