Unifying to Protect our Communities and Environment for the Next Four Years

“Bringing Californians together to fight for our future.”

FEBRUARY 18, 2017

McGeorge School of Law, Sacramento, CA

California State Capitol in Sacramento

The first 100 days of the Trump administration begins in less than two months.  California has led the country in progressive environmental and social policy, but results of the Federal election pose very real threats to California’s achievements.

This year’s PCL Symposium will not have the usual sessions of “talking heads” for 55 minutes followed by 5 minutes of Q and A.  This year’s symposium will feature working sessions bringing together NGO’s, Environmental Justice representatives, concerned citizens and business owners with legi
slative and State administration officials to address the threats and opportunities ahead of us with a new federal administration.

Each working session will start with you fleshing out an initial threat and opportunities analysis for that sector (i.e. climate change, EJ, water, air, transportation, land use).  Then in a professionally facilitated process you will help us identify priority actions that Californians can
jointly support to maintain existing safeguards and continue to be a leader for the nation and the world in environmentally, economically and socially just programs.

This is such an important topic that we are moving this year’s Symposium to the more spacious McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento.  Even at that larger location seating is limited.  To assure that you can be a framer of this unified strategy Sign Up Now.
