Graduate Policy Intern
Anna Kristina is a UC Davis graduate interested in the human rights and public health implications of environmental policy (especially water policy) in the West. While at UC Davis, she did extensive coursework and research on water policy in the American West and on the politics of water across the US-Mexico border. After graduating, Anna worked for a local news agency as a reporter and project manager and at the Mono Lake Committee, where she provided administrative support to an impressive policy team.
Anna grew up in Oakland, CA, and before college, she worked as a backpacking, climbing, and raft guide, including on the Colorado River. Her intense love for the outdoors and deep commitment to the places and communities she belongs to led her to public policy work. She is pursuing graduate school beginning in Fall of 2025.
